Farm Fun Day at Shenandoah Riding Center is a hands-on, family-friendly event where guests can experience life on a farm at the barn!

The event features a petting zoo, cow milking, demonstrations for making ice cream and butter, and a craft activity to create a Circles of the Earth bracelet.

No tickets needed! This is a free event!

Meet new friends and shop for coffee, local food, personal care items, and arts & crafts. The Territory Farmers Market is in the Owners' Club Parking Lot every Sunday from May 24 through October 11.

Saddle Up for Adventure at the Kid’s Corral!

Got a horse-loving kid? Our two-day Young Riders Camp pairs each camper with their own horse for riding lessons, grooming, trail rides, and real stable chores. They’ll build confidence, learn true horsemanship, make friends, and head home with a camp tee and unforgettable memories.

Writing a story while sitting in an 1800s desk, hiking along wooded trails of discovery and science, playing old-fashioned games, all culminating in Belden School’s annual spelling bee!

Step back in time at the historic 1859 limestone one-room schoolhouse, located in The Galena Territory at 52 Heatherdowns Lane. Lovingly preserved, this charming landmark offers a window into the past with open houses on the first and third Saturdays from June through October.

Friendly volunteer docents will share fascinating stories about the school’s history and the everyday experiences of the students who once studied there. Don’t miss your chance to explore a treasured piece of history and celebrate the rich heritage of The Galena Territory!
