Stay home, protect the community
The coronavirus seems to have taken over our lives while raising health concerns around the world. As a result, Illinois is under a stay-at-home order that essentially prohibits non-essential travel. Out of concern of our community’s health and safety, we ask all property owners and visitors postpone trips to and from The Galena Territory and Jo Daviess County.

We also request that owners who rent properties for vacation stays not accept new reservations until April 30 and cancel reservations that exist through April 30 or until the stay-at-home order is lifted. We understand that this might have a significant impact, but believe it’s the right step. While the number of confirmed cases in the area might seem small, every traveler into the county increases the risk of exposure to the virus exponentially. Think about your neighbors, your relatives and this community that we love.
